Born and raised in the south, I have been painting and drawing since I was a child. Following a fulfilling career in medicine, I embarked on a new chapter in the arts 10 years ago as a full time artist. I am particularly drawn to the human figure and still life compositions. Combining the two genres in a successful work is my favorite challenge

Often our exterior costume is meant to hide our inner turmoil. But to a loving observer that is never possible. My goal as an artist is to explore subconscious feelings that art releases. These may be the expressed by the artist or by the viewer. Hopefully both occur.
