Artist Statement
My quest to capture qualities of nature and people takes me on unpredictable journeys. I explore these experiences in my paintings through color and form. This scene from Varanasi, India of a young boy with his animals sheltered by ancient stones has likely been repeated almost daily for over 2,000 years. I invite you to take a quiet moment and step back in time with me.
