Rose Wulff Steiner is a Marin based artist, working in printmaking, painting and mixed media. Rose Wulff Steiner was born in Hamburg Germany, moved to Canada when she was 12 and to California when she was 16 years old. Rose studied art at San Francisco State and was most influenced by Robert Bechtel, Richard McLean and Barbara Foster. She spent all her free time in the Printmaking department.

My work is about action and interaction. When I’m working on my monoprint/ mixed media portrait series, I want my art to communicate with the viewer. I want there to be a connection. It is almost as if I want our worlds to cross, even if just for a second.
